Melbourne Seasons is a static visualisation of 45 years of Melbourne weather data. No account, no backend, no server-side storage. Telemetry goes to Lotl Observe.

All data is pre-computed by a Python script and served as static JSON. There is no backend. Telemetry goes to Lotl Observe.

What we collect

We collect and store the following:

Usage telemetry: Page views and crash reports sent to Lotl Observe so we can see what works and what breaks. No third-party analytics. No personally-identifying data is collected from anonymous visitors.Stored on our server. Kept permanently. Legal basis: legitimate interests. Not individually deletable. Shared with: Lotl Observe.

Your rights

You can export everything we hold about you, and delete your account at any time. Both options live in your account settings. Deletion is immediate and unrecoverable.
